Discovering Selah

Imagine a life stolen, a hope lost, a dream replaced with a nightmare. For the thousands of souls affected by human trafficking, this is their reality. An innocence broken and a purpose and plan disrupted. For the 1% who survive trafficking, the ability to heal and replace all that was lost with a restored vision seems nearly impossible with all of the challenges and roadblocks in today’s society. Imagine a different way. Imagine 20 acres of creation. Imagine a lavender field encompassing a farm table with a seat just for you. Imagine a farm with goats and chickens and earth to sink your fingers into. Imagine a tiny home- just for you, a home to breathe, to rest, to rediscover who you are and the purpose and plan destined for you before you were even born. Imagine a safe space to find healing- counseling, support from women, encounters with God. Imagine a place called Selah.

It will take a community - praise God for the Body of Believers! Join as we begin to break ground on a project with one goal in mind- to provide a safe space for survivors of human trafficking to collide with their Savior in order to find healing and rest. A space and time to learn what it is that brings joy and fuel to their bones. A place to be creative, learn life-skills, build healthy relationships, enjoy nature, to just simply be. Our greatest need is for partners who are ready to sew into this community and take a stand to stand next to the bravest women you will ever know!

Selah Community Development Update

We are thrilled to share the latest progress on Selah, our tiny home community created as a place of rest and restoration for survivors of human trafficking.

As we look back on 2025, we see God’s provision and purpose throughout every completed project that took place! We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for what God has done at Selah and through every soul that came out to be a part of laying the foundation of this future community. Because of the faithful support we continue to receive, the vision we’ve been praying over is becoming a reality.

The lavender field has been cleared, the farm area is fully complete with a fence and goat barn, and we’ve welcomed five new goats to the land. The raised garden bed area is also finished. What was once open ground has now taken shape to reflect life, purpose, and a space that will serve as a safe haven for healing and restoration for the women who will live here.

We are especially excited to share that Phase 1 is complete and all five tiny homes have been fully funded! Our prayer is to begin construction of the next tiny home in the spring of 2026.

Thank you for celebrating this moment with us and for being part of what God is building at Selah. This is just the beginning.

Behind the scenes, we’re continuing to move forward with the zoning process and anticipate breaking ground on both the roads and septic system by the summer of 2026.

Perhaps most inspiring of all has been the outpouring of support from our local community — countless volunteer groups from area churches have come out to serve on the land, offering their time, prayers, and hands to help bring Selah to life.

On December 24th, 2025- the Lord gave another vision. This vision did not involve clearing or construction, rather- worship. Before we break ground at Selah, we will first break bread together. Our plan is to have a time of dedication, celebration, and declaration together - and we would love for you to join us! The date has not yet been set, so keep checking back here or through our social media for more information on when this powerful day will take place.

We also welcome volunteer groups to come serve on the land — whether you’re planting, building, or simply praying over the space, your presence matters.
