Financial Assistance Policy

Purpose
Financial assistance is intended to provide temporary support, not ongoing provision. Our goal is to empower women toward independence, healthy decision-making, and sustainable living.

Guiding Principles
    •    Assistance is not guaranteed and is evaluated case by case
    •    Priority is given to essential needs (housing, utilities, medical, transportation for work)
    •    Assistance is most often provided directly to vendors or service providers
    •    Repeated or discretionary requests may be limited or declined
    •    Effort toward self-sufficiency is an important part of the review process

Boundaries
    •    Dear Dinah does not provide on-demand financial support
    •    Emergency requests may be prioritized, but same-day approval is not guaranteed
    •    Financial assistance may be limited in frequency or amount
    •    Requests that contribute to dependency may be redirected toward other resources

Dear Dinah is committed to supporting women in ways that promote dignity, healing, responsibility, and long-term stability.
